My fiance found Jeff in Old Town Orcutt and cultivated a relationship with him. D had no experience or knowledge in buying an engagement or wedding ring. Jeff was patient and explained what is traditional, but expressed that really anything you want is acceptable as well. Between the two of them they designed my beautiful diamond engagement ring and wedding band set. D told Jeff what he wanted and why and Jeff worked his magic making a unique and stunning set. After the proposal, I went into the shop to meet Jeff and request he make a matching/complementary ring for my future husband. Again, perfection! Jeff nailed it. D is so happy with his band and can't wait to wear it. Guess we'd better hurry up and plan that wedding. Anyway, we can't recommend Jeff enough.

I worked with Jeff for my wife's engagement and wedding set. Jeff went far and beyond anything I could have expected. He consulted me with an initial design, and received my input while also providing his vast expertise and years of experience. He was able to take my ideas and apply them practically. He updated me throughout his creation process, which was fascinating. He is always kind and professional. My wife was blown away by the set and to this day, I cannot believe how perfectly Jeff made it. I cannot recommend him enough.

I am so pleased with my experience at The Gold Torch. My mother-in-law gifted me a ring several years ago with 12 small diamonds surrounding an opal she took out to make another ring. So I didn’t know what to do with these diamonds that were gifted and sentimental to me. We consulted with Jeff at the Gold Torch and he was very helpful with a few different ideas. We finally decided to take out my center diamond from my old ring and surround them with my mother in laws diamonds. The end result is very sentimental and beautiful and just the right amount of bling. I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend getting your custom fine jewelry done with Jeff.

I think the energy and the intention that goes in to a custom piece of jewelry is what makes it priceless. Jeffrey will stay present with you through the whole process, stay on point with his timeline, and create just as you hoped and dreamed… I so enjoyed the process and learning about tradition and “the old school “ way... and in the end, “voila,” I love my ring!!! After more than three decades of working with Jeff…our family just doesn’t go anywhere else for stunning jewelry! Jeff’s amazing artistry and attention to detail is unmatched! Jeff made this ring for me when I was about 31 in 1989…it was the first significant piece of jewelry I had ever bought! I loved this ring! The ring disappeared after a birthday party at our house (still have a hard time believing someone I knew would do that!) Thank you for bringing my beautiful ring back to life after 30+ years! It’s stunning!

Jeff was amazing. We needed a special ring made from my father’s wedding ring and an opal that meant a lot to our family. Since my father is on hospice Jeff went above and beyond he finished the ring unbelievably fast and put it in a beautiful box. This ring brought tears to every family member. Also since Jeff does the work himself the cost was half the price other jewelry stores wanted to charge (since jewelry stores have to send the work out to another company).
